Today the box has grown to 120 colors and includes colors like 'Outer Space' and 'Razzmatazz'.
Like most artists, I LOVE color. I've always said one of my dream jobs would be naming new nail polish colors over at OPI (incidentally, "I Don't Give a Rotterdam!" and "London Bridge is Falling Brown" are my two faves right now)!
My son William asks me what my favorite color is all the time because I've told him choosing just one is like choosing a favorite child... I am always changing my mind...
Every year, Pantone comes up with THE COLOR OF THE YEAR. For 2012, the color of the year is Tangerine Tango (Pantone 17-1463 TCX).
It's a pretty nice color, but my color of the year is a little more orangey/pinkish: I would call it Poppy:

Great post! I've been camping & haven't checked our blog out since last week but I just have to comment & say I've always (for several years now) wanted to be the one who gets to name lipstick and makeup colors.
