hello and welcome to the online blog of our art group~ the beehive art salona few introductions....
we are a group of 26 women that meet together every month. each art night we gather together (some travel as far as 75 miles) to teach and share with each other what we love to create. usually we throw in a lovely potluck supper, a few vintage treasures to swap and a show and tell of what we have been working on since we last got together.
five years ago at our first art night there were just 5 of us that met at my house. our art group has grown since then as each new art sister has found her way to us. we have hosted art retreats and parties, joined together to create art to donate, and most importantly we have found in this circle of women the love and support of dear friends, old and new.
we want to invite you to be part of our creative journey as we share with you what we are making, collecting, growing, painting, and cooking. please send along your comments and questions and let us get to know you and share in what you love to create.
each of our art group bloggers will be taking turns posting tutorials, photos, recipes, ideas and links to their favorite things. its going to be a wonderful adventure. . . . .
