The Beehive Art Salon began in the basement of Julie's house. Julie, Candice, and Rena thought it would be fun to get together every month and share art ideas and projects. We met at each other's houses for awhile until we had too many people and needed a bigger place. We currently meet at an Art Center where we hear the city's newest musicals being practiced in the next room!
Our art group isn't just about art, though. We often share a meal together at the beginning that is ALWAYS delicious! We have laughed, cried, comforted, and listened to each other through our good times and bad. We're the ladies in Steel Magnolias and Martha Stewart all wrapped up in one!
